Very detailed and complex plot it comes together well. Murder mystery, ghosts, dogs, love interest, what.’s not to like? Enjoy
It engages the created from the first page. I couldn't stop reading it till the end. A whodunit in the classic sense with lots of twists and turns.
This book has every thing murder, ghosts, kidnappings, missing treasure, romance I read it in two days because I could not put it down and it has a cute dachshund in it
History, suspense, murder, puzzles, ghosts, romance. What more could anyone want. All my favorites in one.
Minor typos but not enough to distract from the story.
I thought that this was a very sweet romantic mystery. I have ADHD and have a very hard time staying interested in books, but I didn't want to put this down. It was able to keep my attention and I finsihed it in two weeks (impressive for me). Marcia did a great job in introducing the characters. Their personalities came through the pages, and I found myself laugh out loud a couple of times. I also got a bit nervous about what might happen next, so the twists and turns of the mystery were great. It also had a romantic side, which was very sweet and added a lightness to the story. I can't wait for the next book! Great debut Marcia Spillars!!!
The story has a lot of potential but just needs too much polishing! I guess that's where a good editor comes in... I'm trying to finish it but don't think I can take it any more. It's disjointed - the story just doesn't flow. The timing is off. One minute the mystery guy is insulting the main character, and the next, they're acting like it never happened... The sample seemed so good too.
